Official iPhone Help with Windows 7

Today sees Windows 7 go live and available, and the guys by at the iphone blog have set up a forum to deliver help to those who require it when upgrading to Windows 7 and transferring your iPhone by from Windows XP.
The thread starter, Rene Ritchie, starts off by giving his practices for getting everyone started and goes like this…de-authorise you old machine via iTunes, copy all iTunes media to a suitable USB drive, only iPhone / iTunes , install Windows 7, install iTunes, authorise new machine in iTunes, copy iTunes substance from USB back to Windows 7, restart iTunes, and soon after sync the iPhone.
Another poster mentions to prepare certain you grab the iPhone back up files. So there it is, hit up the link whether you need help with the iPhone and Windows 7.

Internet not for iPhone says Microsoft CEO Bullmer

Well now here’s an interesting remark made by Steve Ballmer, Microsoft’s CEO, which Todd Bishop of techflash picked up on that was at the end of an AP story on Windows 7.
Apparently Bullmer, when asked whether the phone could supplant the PC and the tech choice of mobile consumers, remarked, “Let’s face it, the Web was designed for the PC. The Web is not designed for the iPhone.”
Ballmer went on to say…”That’s why they’ve got 75,000 applications — they’re all trying to form the Net look decent on the iPhone.”
Bishop goes on to say that it strikes him as odd that Buller referred to the iPhone specifically and not mobile phones in general, and says “If the Web experience on the iPhone is lost, soon after isn’t it lost on other devices, as well? Was Ballmer trying to criticize the iPhone? Or was he holding it up as the gold standard, the device that represents the best of the mobile phone market in general?”

Video: Google Maps v3.2 for Mobile

Version 3.2 of Google Maps for Mobile has been officially release for BlackBerry smartphones and apparently comes with support for layers reports an commentary on Crackberry.
Now you may ask what a layer is. Well basically layers makes it easy to view various sorts of info on your map and helpful in travelling situations, such as the user can turn on the Wikipedia layer and read about nearby places and such.
But probably the best way to find out what layers in Google Maps 3.2 for Mobile is to check out the 2 minutes video presentation below.
